Who doesn’t love a chocolate festival? The visual of 50 vendors’ tables laden with chocolates was dizzying. There were trays and trays and trays of truffles, bon bons, molded chocolates, brownies, cakes, cookies, and bars. There were vendors from Washington, D.C., North Carolina, and California as well as various towns in Texas. Fat Lady Foods brought her raspberry/chocolate jam; CocoaTown had a cocoa bean grinding machine, and someone displayed a chocolate fountain flowing with milk chocolate. Isabelly’s had chocolate covered peppers, and Wiseman House showed off molded chocolate boots. The Fair Trade Organization was there handing out information on their mission. It was fabulous; I could go on and on, but you get the idea. You might like to attend next year. I know I can’t wait!
